On July 4, 2008, I started taking pictures at the Botanical Garden in Adelaide. I had no reason for doing so - other than having the camera with me, in a nice place, with plenty of trees, on a winter but sunny day. After a couple of occasional close ups of trunks with strange patterns, I began to see things differently. Those in front of me were no longer wooden trunks... they had become skins, of the most diverse textures and colors.
